I’m Gregg — a climate storyteller, artivist, and systems challenger.

Gregg the Artivist: I tell stories that sit in the tension between collapse and possibility. Stories about systems that are failing — and people who are still trying. I use art, activism, and emotion to help us feel what we’re facing, and imagine how we move through it — together.

Originally from Australia, now based in The Netherlands, I’ve spent the past several years using creative tools to unpack climate anxiety, challenge dominant narratives, and build emotional resilience in the face of a world unraveling.

I come from a background in digital content, community storytelling, and systems communication — but what led me here was burnout. What kept me here was connection.

In 2022, I launched Gregg the Artivist as a platform to explore climate justice through a more human lens — combining video essays, reflections, public workshops, and creative campaigns. Since then, I’ve collaborated with grassroots activists, international NGOs, and everyday people navigating the emotional weight of this moment.

What I Believe

I believe the climate crisis is not just environmental — it’s emotional, cultural, and deeply human. I believe grief is not weakness, and uncertainty isn’t failure. And I believe stories — especially those rooted in lived experience — can reconnect us to what matters most.

That’s why I do this work. To help others feel less alone. To question the systems shaping our lives. And to create space for collective imagination, even in the face of collapse.
