Privacy Policy for Gregg the Artivist App

1. Who we are

This app is operated by Gregg Hone (“Gregg the Artivist”), based in the Netherlands.

2. What data we collect

When you use the app, we may collect:

Your name, email, and password (for creating an account).
Your profile details (if you add them, like bio or photo).
Your activity in the app (comments you post, posts you mark as seen, bookmarks you save).
Basic technical information (like device type, crash reports, and performance data) that Adalo collects automatically to keep the app working.

We do not track your location, follow you across other apps, or sell your data.

3. How we use your data

To let you log in and manage your account.
To show you your own history of comments, bookmarks, and seen posts.
To improve the app experience and fix bugs.
To keep the community safe (e.g., moderate harmful content).

4. Who can see your data

Other users can see the comments you choose to post, your name, and profile picture.
Your “seen” marks and bookmarks are private — only you can see them.
I may use aggregated, anonymous data (e.g., “50 users bookmarked this post”) for improving the app, but never tied back to you personally.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your data as long as you have an account.

If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.

Comments you made may remain in the app for community continuity, but no longer tied to your identity.

6. Account Deletion (In-App & Support)

Users can delete their account at any time directly from within the app:

Go to your Account page.
Select Delete Account.
Confirm your choice — this will permanently remove your account and associated data.

If you experience any issues with in-app deletion, you can also request deletion by contacting us via our Contact Page. We will process all requests within 30 days.

7. Data Management

ou are in control of the information stored in your account. Within the app, you can update or change your personal details at any time, including your name, email address, username, profile photo, and bio. You can also remove individual content that you have created, such as posts or comments, without deleting your entire account.

Some information, such as a valid email address and username, is required in order to maintain an account and access the app’s features. If you wish to permanently remove this information, you can delete your account at any time. Deleting your account will erase all associated personal data from our system.
