Rewrite Reality Season 2

Rewrite Reality is a podcast and conversation series about the stories we inherit, the systems we live inside, and the different futures we might still create.

Each episode begins from a personal entry point, then opens into a deeper conversation with a guest. Together, we explore what is being normalized, what is being ignored, what needs to be named more honestly, and what might need to be reimagined altogether.

The tone is reflective, grounded, and human. Not debate for the sake of debate. Not hot takes. Not performance. Just meaningful conversation that helps people think, feel, and connect more deeply with the times we are living through.

I am looking for guests and returning guests who have something real to bring to the conversation.

That might include artists, organisers, educators, writers, activists, facilitators, community builders, researchers, people working inside systems, people challenging systems, and people carrying lived experience that can help us see the world more clearly.

You do not need to be famous. You do not need a huge platform. You do not need to have everything figured out.

What matters most is that you can speak with honesty, nuance, and care.

I am especially interested in people who can help open up conversations around:

Season 2 will run for 26 weeks.

Episodes will be recorded in advance in batches. Each final episode will run for up to 20 minutes. Guests should allow around 45 minutes for recording per episode.

Recording takes place in my purpose built home studio in The Hague.

If you are selected, we will have a short exchange beforehand to make sure the conversation is a good fit and that the topic feels aligned for both of us.

I am not looking for people who simply want to promote themselves or repeat familiar talking points.

I am looking for conversations that feel alive. Conversations with depth, honesty, tension, thoughtfulness, vulnerability, and care. Conversations that bring lived experience into contact with bigger systems and bigger questions.

The aim is not to have all the answers.

The aim is to create episodes that help people pause, reflect, and imagine differently.

This open call may be a good fit if you are someone who:

• has lived experience connected to the themes above
• can speak reflectively and with nuance
• is open to thoughtful, values led conversation
• is interested in contributing to a not for profit public storytelling project
• can travel to The Hague for recording
• might want to join for one episode or several across the season
